After she obtained her flute master degree in Paris Superior National Conservatory (2004, Sophie Cherrier's class), Marion Ralincourt concluded her schooling by a Soloist Master Diplomas (2007) and Chamber music Master Diploma (2008), in Sophie Cherrier's and David Walter's classes.
Having a passion for chamber music, she created in 2005 the Harpéole duet with the french harpist Lucie Marical (Gaëlle Le Gallic invited them for her show "Dans la cour des grands" et J.M. Damian also in "Ce soir on dîne", on France Musique). Harpéole would like to have a mission: to refresh flute and harp repertoire, by exploring particularly baroque and contemporary music, and transcription aswell. Harpéole duet played in Paris (Radio France, Invalides, Cité de la musique), on many national stages, several young festivals (Dinar, Paris), and also played Mozart Concerto with the Timisoara Philharmonie.
Marion enjoys also playing frequently in sonata with the french talented pianist Jean-Michel Dayez. A CD devoted to french 20th century music is now in preparation (Poulenc, Dutilleux, Jolivet, Mantovani, Paulet, Leroux, Hurel).
Marion even so doesn't abandon orchestral pratice: she's incumbent flutist in the Orchestre Symphonique et Lyrique de Tours, just as in the Orchestre Les Siècles (historical instruments, from Rameau to Boulez, dir. François-Xavier Roth).
Her implication within Les Siècles leaded her to begin practising historical instruments, and Marion now trys to ever use the instrument appropriated to each style.
Her repertoire strechs from baroque period to contemporary music, wich she defends particularly ("Phonus" Concerto for flute of Philippe Hurel, "...Explosante Fixe..." of Boulez, participation to the last CD of the french composer Vincent Paulet “Partita 2” for flute and piano...).
In April 2005, Marion wons the first prize at the International Flute Competition in Cracow, and the prize for the best interpretation of Penderecki's Concerto. She's semi-finalist at international competitions of Kobe, and Jean-Pierre Rampal'one (Special Mention). In June 2006, she's laureate at the international competition Carl Nielsen (Danemark).
Alain Duault invited her for his TV show "Toute la musique qu'ils aiment" on june 2006 on french TV.
Marion played in recital in Paris (Invalides, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, salle Cortot, Abbaye de Royaumont...), was a chamber music artist invited by Festivals de Prades, Festival des Arcs, Kyoto and Sapporo festivals, and many young talents festivals.
Marion played as soloist with the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Orchestre Pasdeloup, the Orchestre of the Gulbenkian Fondation, symphonic orchestras of Timisoara and Cracow. She tooks part in "la Folle Journée" in Nantes and Tokyo.
For 2009-2010 season, she will be invited to play as soloist with the Ensemble Intercontemporain and the Navarra Symphony Orchestra, and, for 2010-2011, with the Berliner Philharmoniker (...Explosante fixe... dir. Pierre Boulez).
